yakuza 2 runs quite well, average 40+ fps while battle, and 30+ fps while exploring the city

ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS :

1.download PCSX2 0.9.6 click this LINK
2.download new pcsx beta click this LINK
3.install pcsx2
4.extract the pcsx beta to the root folder of pcsx
5.extract the gsdx plugin to the plugin folder
6.run pcsx2 (right click,run as administrator if you are on vista)
7.configure the graphics plugin n use gsdx 0.15 sse3 (if you have dual core) sse 2(single core) sse 4(quadcore)
8.change the graphic settings of gsdx to dx9 hardware, pixel 2.0, no interlacing & check the native, nloop, filtering, logarithmic, FBA, edge, and output merger
9.for sound just use PeOPs,you can use another also
10.configure the CPU, check all the left settings, use limit frame, set the frame limit to 70, and start skip when below 25
11.gamefixes : check the VU clip hack
12.Speed hacks : use 2x cycle rate, check evertyhing in the middle box and right box, set the VU cycle stealing all the way to the right (max)
13.dvance : chop/zero on both, none/normal on both, enable denominal and flush on both
14.use swvp mode(SOFTWARE VERTEX MODE) mode see this guide LINK

more information :
for more comfortable in playing ps2 game with pcsx 2 ,you can compress the dvd into iso file ,then play the game with iso extentions ,i think this will improve some fps and the sound will not be crush ,use dvd dcrypter ,find it on google ^^
